How to Install the K5 GPS Speedometer

Why does the screen sometimes show "__" or no speed?

This usually means the Car Speedometer is temporarily not receiving Gps signal. Please drive in an open area with strong GPS signal.

Will it work in tunnels or underground garages?

This is a GPS-based speedometer for cars, so signal may be temporarly lost in tunnels or underground garages. This is normal for all Gps devices

Can I calibrate the speed reading?

No. K5 GPS Speedometer Display does not support speed calibration.
The speed is calculated directly from GPS data for simplicity and ease of use.

Does the K5 GPS Speedometer need to stay plugged in?

Yes. The K5 Digital Speedometer requires continuous USB power while in use to maintain the GPS speed display. Simply connect it to your vehicle’s USB power source 5V while driving.
