I got this for an older bus that we use for family road trips because it didn’t have a digital speedometer, and I was never fully confident that the factory speedometer was still accurate. I had been relying on my phone’s GPS maps to monitor speed, but that became annoying anytime someone called or the map screen changed and I could no longer easily see the speed.This solved that problem really well. The display is easy to read with large numbers that are visible at a quick glance while driving, which makes it much more convenient and safer than constantly checking a phone.I also compared the readings side by side with my phone GPS speed, and they matched exactly, so it appears to be very accurate. Setup and operation were straightforward without being complicated to figure out.Another bonus is that it actually looks pretty cool in the vehicle and gives the older bus a more modern feel. Overall, this has been a simple but very useful upgrade that makes monitoring speed easier, more accurate, and more convenient during trips.

Let's face it, we live in a distracted society. With the variety of devices we have competing for our attention, knowing your speed while driving a 2 ton vehicle should not be another one.It's a fantastic idea to have your speed available to you at eye level while driving, and only higher end cars have a heads up display.This little unit is a great compromise. I do like the carbon fiber design on the outside, and the screen does look crisp and bright. There are various brightness levels, but I opted for the lower of the brightness levels, as too bright can make you not see the road.It takes a minute or two to get the GPS calibrated when you first get it, but when calibrated, it was as accurate as the car's speedometer. It functions as an6altimeter as well, which is pretty impressive.I could only give a 4 star, because it's not that easy to use with just the rocker switches on the side, and the manual is a bit confusing. Also, the cable is really thick, so you can't really tuck it away so it's not just hanging around. It's still a fantastic value for the money.

You just plugged this in and it does everything automatically it even comes with the peel and stick tape to stick it on your dash already attached to the unit. I use it in my 79 Mustang because the speedometer doesn’t work anymore and the colors are bright and vivid and beautiful and all you have to do is plug it in and it does all the rest

I also appreciate the fact that the display is clearly visible under strong sunlight during the day, and soft non glaring light at night. Best part is that it adjusts automatically, you don't need to do a thing.This unit measures 3.29 x 2.76 x 2.72 inches. It doesn't take up much space nor does it block your view. Be sure to read the instructions. I've posted pics of the instructions just in case anyone loses theirs you'll have a copy here. I'm going to get another because my son likes it and wants one. I can recommend this unit.

Pretty cool little guage. The size is perfect for viewing even at a distance; but not too large that you can't find a place to put it. The display is nice and bright and auto dims based on lighting conditions. Has multiple screens to show various information. As someone who tows I find the elevation display is great to have. For the cost this guage is a great value and is feature packed. It also comes with self adhesive tape already applied on the bottom making it easy to place almost anywhere. It is powered by an included USB cord which is a type C on the back of the gauge. Functions are easy to toggle through with the button on the left side. Don't loose the instruction booklet though as it tells you how to use the buttons for the various features and there are many.
